  I use to be a member of the LDS (Mormon) Church. I resigned when I was 43. I just could not keep jumping through hoops any longer. The more I learned the more I had to face the facts. The Book of Mormon is fiction and just about everything that happens in that church is about making sure you keep paying your tithing.

  This is a wonderful church! The people here have helped me feel God's love, and the teachings help me find more direction and peace in life. It has made my family closer, and I feel that it's helping me become more service-oriented and able to better cope with life. I thank God for the restored Church of Jesus Christ.
