  Everyone is nice and inviting.I only have went on time but I wasn't nervous or I didn't feel out of place were sick now but will be back soon

  We switched our 3 year old son to LUMP after enrolling him at the Goddard preschool and having a very negative experience there. Our son has been enrolled in Lakewood United Methodist Preschool for 2 years and we have been very happy with the level of care he receives and the expertise of the teachers. The atmosphere is one of community, where parents are required to volunteer in the classroom frequently. The teachers and staff truly care about each of their individual students and provide excellent communication. Social-emotional development is an area in which the school emphasizes and excels in. The classroom has a nice structure and there are many opportunities for experiential learning, motor development and literacy learning. The teachers are always seeking out opportunities to improve their teaching and get new ideas by taking classes.
  I work in education and I am continually impressed with everything that goes on at LUMP. I highly recommend it to any parent looking for a loving, nurturing program with a well-educated staff.
